Our professional services include the following areas of practice: 1. General Consultation and Planning We offer legal information and advice encompassing all aspects of business transactions required by our clients, such as enforceable terms and conditions under the Thai laws and foreign investment laws, regulations and procedures under the Thai laws. Our services also cover preparation of joint venture agreements, memorandum, notice, application and request for privileges and exemption on taxation under the investment promotion laws. These include services in obtaining permits and licenses on construction, factory including all areas of intellectual property and business transactions. Our policy is to focus on providing our clients with convenience and legal advice which is simple to understand and is profitable to their businesses. 2. Corporate Matters We pride ourself on our close professional and usually cordial personal relationship with our clients. We regularly represent our clients on formation of corporation and business enterprises, including establishment of foreign representative offices, companies and other business entities. In many cases, we also represent foreign companies as their agents on trademark, copyright, licensing and intellectual property. 3. Labor Relation We provide legal advice and litigation in relation to the labor laws of Thailand. We help our clients create and prepare guidelines and employment regulations aiming at establishing the most satisfying relationship and good cooperation with their employees. We also represent our clients at the labor courts and the labor protection office. 4. Taxation and Audit We offer tax planning and advice on taxation. Our senior lawyers with long-term experience in working with the Revenue Department and the office of General Auditors are well prepared to provide our clients with advice and planning on taxation, including necessary negotiations and taking any legal steps to solve their tax problems. In close collaboration with our associated reputable auditors who are specialized in various types of business, our tax lawyers are in a position to provide consultation and advice which will be most beneficial to our clients. In addition, we have our own Audit Department which offers both internal and external audit services which include accounting planning for our clients who need special assistance. The Department also offers our clients the assistance related to the design of accounting systems, both computer-based and manual, and internal control. 5. Intellectual Property Our firm has provided an Intellectual Property Work Group to assist our client to build and shape their intellectual property assets and successfully leverage these assets in their business transactions. We maintain our high-quality intellectual property advice from deep understanding of world wide marketing and technology competition. We provide our intellectual property advice not only on our legal expertise, but also on our long period of experience in the concerning fields such as management consulting and strategic planning. We have closely work with our corporate and tax lawyers to structure the transfer or license of the intellectual property rights as optimal for the business objectives of our clients. 6. Litigation We represent our clients on litigation, filing lawsuits and petitions on civil case, criminal case, labor case, tax and bankruptcy case, including all legal procedures on the execution and legal enforcement after the judgment. We also provide services on case investigation, fact finding and information checking to support our legal representation for our clients. Kimberley & Associates represented many international trading firms, investors, construction companies and business firms at civil courts and have successfully protected our clients’ benefits under the provisions and practices of Thai laws. We also have been successful in developing our international legal practice to service our clients. Our legal professional service related to the international practice also includes. (a) preparation of the international agreements involving sales, leasing, technology transfer, joint ventures, acquisitions, real estate investments, securities issues, etc. for our clients;
(b) advice to our clients on foreign laws and practices through research or in collaboration with our associated law firms or prestigious foreign law firms which we maintain close contact;

(g) representing clients on negotiations with authorities and government body on business policy and political supports. CLIENTS We have always maintained speedy legal service and advice to our clients. Many of them are Japanese corporations and investors and Japanese joint ventures. Others include trade associations, non-profit organizations, foreign firms and individuals. We also represent and give regular legal services to many international clients and investors including their joint venture corporations in Thailand. Besides, we represent and give services to many construction companies, suppliers and manufacturers which are formed by international joint ventures and foreign corporations.
